SnowSkool selected the Banff Alpine Centre as the perfect location in which to house our students. Perched magnificently on Tunnel Mountain Road, the views over Banff town (a ten minute walk) and the surrounding mountains are stunning.
Part of the Hostelling International Group, the Banff Alpine Centre is regularly voted in the top 10 hostels worldwide because of its stunning location, friendly international atmosphere and great facilities which include on-site pub, restaurant, ice-climbing wall, spa, huge communal area (SnowSkool HQ), free wireless internet throughout and laundry.

The heart of the Banff Alpine Centre is the huge galleried communal area, which is all but taken over by SnowSkool and her students from early January until mid April!
With an open fire and ample seating, it provides the
perfect setting for a gap year skiing and snowboarding course; take time out to relax and warm up by the fire, chat with mates about the day’s skiing or riding over a cold beer, play cards or chess or listen to music and catch up on your emails with the free wireless internet. If you fancy a drink, the on-site pub is just a short walk away and there is always a warm welcome, a cold beer and a free game of pool on offer.
What's Included?
Included in the price of your course is breakfast and evening meals served Monday to Friday. Breakfast is prepared by your SnowSkool reps and we will also join you for dinner every evening – this ensures that we are in contact with the students at least twice every day: if a problem should arise, we will be all over it straight away. You are responsible for providing your own lunches and weekend meals.
The Conditions
The standard room size will contain four people sharing.
Upgrade to a larger room with ensuite facilities is available at an additional cost.
Breakfast & evening meals will be served Monday to Friday.
