THE ELEVEN WEEK COURSE
The SnowSkool Big White programme was developed in conjunction with the Ski & Board School at Big White and is overseen by Josh Foster, CSIA Board Member and a member of the Canadian Interski Team. Josh Foster runs one of North America’s most progressive Ski & Board Schools with a huge focus on professional development within the School and an emphasis on customer service.
In Big White, we use a rolling pool of ski instructors and snowboard instructors to teach the SnowSkool programme. All are highly-qualified as either experienced CSIA/ CASI Level 3 snowboard/ ski instructors or CSIA/ CASI Level 4 ski/ snowboard instructors. And with five hours of tuition per day, five days per week, your skiing or snowboarding will improve dramatically. No instructor training course will offer more tuition than SnowSkool.
In four seasons of SnowSkool programmes in Big White and Banff, we have a 100% pass rate for the CSIA Level 1 Ski Instructor exams and the CASI Level 1 Snowboard Instructor exams. The corresponding pass rates for the CSIA and CASI Level 2 Instructor exams are 91% and 94% respectively.
As well as the daily lessons, SnowSkool Big White students will benefit from specialist training in powder skiing/ riding, bumps, freestyle and race technique. You will also be given a weekly feedback session from your instructor
EMPLOYMENT PROSPECTS
