Nehow, this post is a big shout out to all the Banff lot to say HI! Who are you? Where you from? All that stuff...
After the recent email from Phil and from closer inspection the Big White Crew's Forum is buzzing and ours is well... Not!! After meeting Dunc briefly in Birmingham he will no doubt be quite smug about this. So I putting this out there to bring together the Banff 07 crew!!!! This trip is guna be awesome lets show Big white lot they choose the wrong resort!

hey all banff ppl! my affectionate name from my mates is red, reddles, redalicious, redsy ect ect cos i have flamin red hair! but most ppl say "wouldny they call ya bluey then?" um no. my real names susan (but i totally hate that!) reminds me on wen im in trouble! i think im the only chick snowboarder on the course?? was lookin at the list that paul emailed out and yeah i think i will have to give the boys a run for their money haha! im from sydney Australia and its getting really hot here lately, about 45 degrees celcius so its short shots, skirts and singlets from here on in! but i love the winter better cos that brings me snow yay Razz

we have snow in oz but its crap, like hard ice crusty shit so thats why i decieded to do a bit of travelling overseas to see what they have to offer. did nz in 2004, japan 2005, austria 2006 and now canada 2007!

Hi all, my name is Tom and im from Essex, been snowboarding for the last 7 or 8 years now and cant wait to get out to Banff as last year was the first year i havent got to the slopes in ages! really looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great 3 months away from home and having to wear a suit!

Hey guys, Im joe andd Im 18 from worcester, only decent thing from here is the sauce, so yeah its a happening place for sure. Been snowboarding once a year for the last 5 years, but working for quiksilver and selling snow gear whilst having to wait 51 weeks for my next trip is starting to get to me now. Jus a quick question how many pple are buying equipment whilst we are out there? cos i jus went an bought a load to test it out n stuff.

Alright dave, im gonna be buyin my board out in Banff mainly because we can get advice on what we need and because itd be cheaper i suppose!
I was just wondering how many ppl will be travelling up the day before the 12th because im checking in a hotel about two miles away from Heathrow and was wonderin if anyboady else was doin the same because we could meet up and have a couple of drinks before the flight!?!? Smile

Just letting u know that i will be staying in heathrow the night before too... So a drink sounds good to me, certainly better than doing nothing. Food is always another good option. It is going to be a great weekend up here at 7000 feet as the cold snap has ended. 4 cms of new snow in the last 24 hours make it a great start to November. With Goat?s Eye Mountain now open we have all three mountains open to ski and ride on! Ski and ride on over 85 runs including the ski-out all the way to the base. Delirium Dive has also opened for the season, call 762-6511 for current conditions.

Past 24 hours: 4cms
Past 3 days: 10cms
Base: 105cms

did any of u go to the reunion party? i figure it would have been a little difficult to fly over from oz, but if anyone went i want to hear stories!!!!

harriet- i think japan would have the best snow out of the places ive been so far, but from what ive been checking out on the net it is already snowing in banff lots and by the time we get there it should be very thick and fluffy! Razz

dave- im taking my own stuff wit me but il always be tempted to buy new gear and i think its a good idea to get it over there as we get discounts and advice on what to buy.

laura bond if you're on here- nah i dont play guitar but i was wondering if anyone did and was going to bring theirs?or if theres already one there? (this would be where phil or paul chime in) but i am musical and love a good sing along! piano is my forte tho!

Thought I'd say hello on this one. Having a read through, looks like maybe some of the Banferrs have been away together already...is that right? The conditions sound great Dingle. I'm gonna need to wrap up WARM! Think I'll buy stuff out there, which'll be a nice shopping trip Smile

Has anyone been to Banff before? If so can they tell me about shops, bars etc? Are there people from all over the place in Banff for the season? That'd be nice, and ofcourse lovely Canadians. I have an Uncle in Canada (for some stange reason everyone seems to have an Uncle in Canada!) He's in Toronto, other side, but it's lovely there and the people are very friendly too. Fun fun fun...
