I've never been to BW before, but been to Canada twice. Banff, Lake Louise, Jasper and Whistler but all in the summer unfortunately Sad

I love Canada.

Depends what your looking for Slider. Lets see... Theres a really good fun run called 'Goats Kick'. Lots of moguls, pull something off them if you feel your up to it. The Cliff is a LOT of fun if your looking for steep, but a lot of the time ive been there, its been closed =S.

For powder, look no further than 'Easter Chutes'. Its not really a run, its more of a path which leads through 4 or 5 runs. Good fun, if you like weaving in and out of trees.

The runs at black forest are excellent as well, and theyre all really easy to get to, good if your looking for something that you can relax on.

Gem Lake though... some CRAZY runs over there. When i was there, it was something i tried to get in as early as possible, apart from taking a fair amount of time to just get over there (unless you drive of course) IMO Gem Lake has the best runs, with a fair bit of variety. Though not a lot of greens if your looking for something cruisy.

I myself, am not a big fan of powder =P But yes, the powder there is insane Wink You wont have much difficulty finding good powder.

I remember going to gem lake after 4 days of it being shut because of high winds and poor visability. And it had been snowing the whole time Smile
that is probely my favorite day boarding ever, the pow was like waist height and its so steep over there its hard to hurt yourself, i remember proper ragdolling it and just laughing it off.

Black forest was probely where u spend most your time espessially if the clouds move in coz the visability is abit better over that side.

As for the easter shoots, yea they are amazing, steep, deep and fast Smile

the cliff is fun aswell Smile

Seen a pic of the cliff, looks...fun!!

cant wait to attempt it!!

Banff in the summer is still really cool, one of those ski resorts that never really shuts down. Sunshine obviously does cos theres f**k all up there, but Banff is as much a summer town as it is a winter one.

Yeah, im not a big fan of powder either. The park is pretty cool... but it lacks anything real big, if you wanna go hard. Theres some good fun rails, and last time i was there, there was a boardcross course.

Good to see some new names hitting the Big White 07-08 session.

And all the better for having downloaded the piste map already in order to have it fully memorised by the time we get out there.

I did Whistler last year but it just rained! so looking forward to proper snow this year and some proper nights out as well! Wink
