Been thinking about skis recently... what skis have you guys got, and what do you recommend??

I heard the K2 Public Enemy's were good all rounders, but then that twin-tips are best suited to park only, so im a little confused..

Something like the K2 Apache's or the Rossignol Bandits suitable?

hey Bennyboy

Have a look at some of the other topics under equipment.

now to add to that - Dan and myself had Rossi Sprayer BC 's. I only used my to compete my Snow Park Accreditation. I used Head XRC's everywhere else. However Dan used his for everything. so there is no hard and fast rule.

In Big White Snowskool students usually get discounts on equipment very simular to the pro deals the instructors get. So you will save money. And the guys in BW really know there stuff. Don't panic about skis you're in good hands being with S/skool.

One thing to remember is that you will have skis and boots to take back home. a lot of guys were running around buying bags to carry there gear home at the last minute. So plan ahead here. Know your airline requirement. and factor this in. I carry a board bag cause of the larger size (make sure it's long enough), so I can pack skis and clothing and I don't get charged extra luggage (just watch the weight).

Hopoe this helps
good luck next season
and I'll see ya in Big White next Season

Thanks very much for the reply Very Happy

Regarding boots etc, i already have a pair of ski boots so that is ok. I recently bought a big bag to take all my stuff in, from S&R. It has 2 compartmants at either end which are designed for carrying boots, then a clothes bit in the middle which is plenty big enough.

So i guess i will get the ski's out there, as that seems to be the thing that everyone else does, making use of cheaper Canadian prices and the discounts!!

Once again cheers for your help, and yeah, see you in Big White next season Very Happy

Ben
