What’s going down in Banff 2012 - Week 12
We've been busy here in our second last week. There were still some exams to be sat and a group successfully completed their race coach training. But off the slopes, we managed to rustle up some fun be it karaoke, dancing with a sasquatch or watching George and Co win the weekly football game AGAIN - the latter being the only part of the season we'll be glad to put an end to!
What’s going down ... Banff 2012 - Week 11
A week of BIG milestones in Sunshine Village with the completion of the Level 2 exams, some magic spring weather AND the breaking of the record for snowfall in a season. We've worked hard and played hard and are now ready to enjoy the last two weeks of our season here in beautiful Banff.

Le Blog ... SnowSkool France 2012 - Week 10
Our first week of Level 2 exams is now complete and we have less than two weeks until our sojourn in France is over. The pressure's been on this past week with long days out on the piste followed by serious feedback sessions with BASI at the chalets. We'll be back out there again next week for another round of testing and tough though it is, everyone is working hard, acting on the feedback and giving it their very best shot. This time next week, we'll know the outcome!
What’s going down ... Banff 2012 - Week 10
And so ends our very last week of training here in Banff. The L2s start for most in the new week although two Aussies got the jump on everyone else and passed their exams this week (that's Kane on the left and Marc on the right, above)! Everyone worked hard in their final training sessions held in amazing conditions - the record snowfall for March has already been broken and we're just over half way through the month!
The word from Big White 2012 - Week 9
GIANT week in Biggy - we took a trip to Revelstoke before commencing our last week of training in Big White in preparation for the L2 exams. We also had a birthday visit from Spiderman! The training is now over and exams underway for both boarders and skiers so keep everything you own crossed and send lots of positive thoughts our way!
What’s going down … Banff 2012 - Week 9
World-record snowfall in the Banff area this week has brought amazing conditions. The group trained hard before heading out to Revelstoke to meet up with the SnowSkoolers from Big White. Final week of instructor training this week before the L2s start - bring 'em on, we say!
Le Blog … Three Valleys 2012 - Week 9
And so as we leave Week 9 behind and venture into the final fortnight of the course, all the hard work, shadowing and lesson planning is coming into play. The next couple of weeks are going to be intense, with long days and examiner- testing five days a week. We wish everyone the best of luck as this is when it all matters.
