Relax on the sofas in front of the fire, head down to the storm cellar (onsite bar) for a beer and to play some pool, or why not try your hand at ice climbing on your very own ice wall in the back yard?! We’ll be having breakfast and dinner as a group 5-days per week, where your reps will be on hand to answer any questions and of course to let you know of all the fun stuff they’ve been organising; ranging from trips to see the Calgary Flames ice hockey to dodgeball and bar crawls (not together… wait… that gives us a fun idea!) one thing’s for sure, you’ll never get bored! The reps will be living at the hostel too and as such are on hand should you have any urgent problems (or just need a drinking buddy for the night…).

An Average Week at SnowSkool France:

During an average week in France you will receive 25 hours of instruction from our instructors at Parallel Lines Ski and Snowboard School. All of our instructors are at the very top of their game and all hold BASI ISTD qualifications, so you can be sure that you will be in good hands! In addition to the 25 hours of instruction you will also complete some additional shadowing hours, essential for the BASI Levels 1 & 2. This shadowing can be very rewarding and gives you great experience of what working as an instructor is actually like. After skiing why not head to one of the lively après bars for a well-earned beverage? Then hop on the regular bus down to Chandon or Les Allues (every 15/20 mins) and return to the comforts of your Chalet. Relax in front of the log fire, beer in hand, and chat about the days on-slope antics while the SnowSkool chefs prepare you a delicious home cooked dinner (5 nights a week!). We normally eat dinner around the chalet’s large dining table then either rest up for the tomorrow’s lessons in the chalet, or head out in to town to sample Méribel’s nightlife! Your SnowSkool rep will be on hand 24/7 for any questions or problems you may have, he/she will also organise off-slope activities for you to get involved with as and when you wish to. Last year we had trips to the local ice hockey, group meals out in town, freestyle competitions, and plenty of nights out!
