ACCOMMODATION IN BANFF

SnowSkool selected the Banff Alpine Centre as the perfect location in which to house our students. Perched magnificently on Tunnel Mountain Road, the views over Banff town (a ten minute walk) and the surrounding mountains are stunning. Not only does the Banff Alpine Centre have a stunning location and friendly international atmosphere, but it also has great facilities including an on-site pub, a restaurant, an ice-climbing wall, spa, huge communal area (“SnowSkool HQ”!) and free wireless internet throughout.

The heart of the Banff Alpine Centre is the huge galleried communal area, which is all but taken over by SnowSkool and her students from early January until mid April! With an open fire and ample seating, it provides the perfect setting for a gap year ski or and snowboarding course; take time out to relax and warm up by the fire, chat with mates about the day’s skiing/ riding over a cold beer, play cards or chess or listen to music and catch up on your emails with the free wireless internet. If you fancy a drink, the on-site pub is just a short walk away and there is always a warm welcome, a cold beer and a free game of pool on offer.

What's Included?

Included in the price of your course are breakfast and evening meals served Monday to Friday. Breakfast is prepared by your SnowSkool reps and we will also join you for dinner every evening – this ensures that we are in contact with the students at least twice every day: if a problem should arise, it will be dealt with straight away.
