ski Instructor Courses
DO IT…BEFORE YOUR KNEES PACK UP!
Why is the last run of your ski holiday so depressing? Is it because it always starts dumping the biggest, fluffiest snowflakes as you board the coach to the airport or is it because you know that the office/ classroom/ lecture theatre beckons on Monday? Or is it because you can’t believe you won’t ski again for a whole year…that’s 52 horrible weeks or 365 painful days or 8760 pointless hours.
Joining one of SnowSkool’s ski instructor courses is the miracle cure for this loathsome condition! With a truly global reach, you can train as a ski instructor at world-class resorts in Canada, France, New Zealand or the USA. Our ski instructor courses take place in both the northern and southern winter with start dates in December, January, April and July. And if you are looking to go on and work as a ski instructor, SnowSkool’s instructor recruitment database can help you there. At last count, we had connections to over 150 Ski Schools in fourteen different countries! Your toughest decision is which SnowSkool ski instructor course to choose!
Short or Long Ski Instructor Training Courses
GO LONG…OR GO HOME!

Short ski instructor courses last between two and five weeks whereas their season-long brethren last from nine to twelve weeks. One question we love answering is…”Can I do Level 1 and Level 2 on the short course?” and the answer is, of course, no! Sorry guys, but the Level 1 is an entry-level ski instructor qualification that can be completed as part of a short course whereas the Level 2 is a whole huge step up and permits holders to work as a ski instructor internationally.
Short instructor courses are useful for those that are restricted by time or who want to spread the qualifications over two seasons but SnowSkool’s range of season-long ski instructor courses enable you to focus your training and make the most of your time in the mountains, working on your freestyle or backcountry skiing, doing some heli-skiing and generally settling into a life in the mountains!
We're Diggin
THE LATEST & GREATEST FROM THE SNOWSKOOL TEAM

“Big Sky...OMG…Big Sky. How insane is Big Sky?!?!” These were the first words uttered by SnowSkool’s Phil Purdie after returning to the office from a trip to Big Sky. We can neither confirm nor deny whether “OMG” was actually a slightly ruder version. Since then he has barely stopped recounting the resort’s stats (which we now all know off by heart!): 5500 acres of skiable terrain, 35ft of snow per year, 4350ft of vertical. In fairness, that is some pretty sick terrain. And the area has five terrain parks, slope-side accommodation, great nightlife…hmmm, maybe Phil has a point!
