Ski Instructor Training Holidays
Train as a ski instructor in two weeks!
They tell us that time’s tight in the fast lane nowadays and so, in response, SnowSkool (with its finger on the pulse as ever!), is constantly shortening the length of our ski instructor training courses. They used to be eleven weeks, then five, we flirted with four but bypassed it for three. Now you can become a ski instructor with SnowSkool in two weeks…that’s 14 days…or 336 hours…or 20160 minutes. We called it the Two Week Ski Instructor Course because we didn’t like the name: Twenty-thousand, One-Hundred and Sixty Minute Ski Instructor Course!
The concept is simple; instead of spending two weeks baking in the Cyprus sun, overeating during the day, overdrinking at night whilst fending off the advances of the local, mustachoied lotharios, why not join SnowSkool in France’s Three Valleys and complete your ski instructor training. After all, you can be in and out (with your BASI Level 1 instructor exam) within one million, two hundred and nine thousand & six hundred seconds.

BASI Level 1 Alpine Qualification

You will train for and sit the Level 1 exam of BASI (British Association of Ski Instructors). This is an entry level ski qualification but will help to tidy up your ski technique and also enable you to teach skiing in a few countries in both the northern & southern hemispheres – Andorra, Australia, Japan, UK (snowdomes and dry-slopes) and the USA.
Whatever your motivation, your skiing will improve and this qualification can be supplemented by further exams such as the BASI Level 2 qualification and on.

The best holiday of my life
Alex Heckford, 32, SnowSkool Three Valleys 2010

A little secret for you here: the two-week SnowSkool ski instructor course is the best way to get affordable access to some of the best ski instructors - sorry, BASI trainers - out there. I learnt more in one day with John [SnowSkool ski instructor] than in two weeks trailing behind fifteen other people trying to get a glimpse of the French dude assigned to teach our lesson! That's why I did it!
