Party TimeSnowboarding Instructor Training - Big White
Short, Sharp and Lots of Fun
If you are unable to take 11 weeks out of your life to perfect your snowboarding, first of all...shame on you (!) and, secondly, why not join SnowSkool for five weeks of snowboarding training that leads to the CASI Level 1 snowboard instructor qualification? The five-weeker is held in Big White where the words “powder”, “luxury”, “trees”, “ski-in/ ski-out”, “hot tubs” etc are never far from one’s lips! The course takes place through January and the first two weeks of February where a whole ton of snow is almost guaranteed!
This snowboard course will see your riding improve dramatically in the British Columbian powder and for many it will be your first taste of deep powder. Others may use this as the stepping stone to a career in snowboarding instruction or in a phased approached to getting the CASI Level 2 qualification over two seasons.

Who chooses this course?

Ideal for those looking for an extended holiday in which to become a snowboard instructor or general sick rider! Also an option for those looking to do their CASI Level 1 and CASI Level 2 over two seasons.
Blue/ red-runners with at least four or five weeks’ on-snow experience should have sufficient skills to enable our snowboard trainers to take you to instructor level.
Still thinking it might be cooler to do a long course? Check out another snowboard instructors course with SnowSkool.
CASI Instructor Qualifications
Level 1 Snowboard Instructor

On the Big White five-weeker, you will sit the CASI Level 1 snowboard instructor qualification. The first of four levels of snowboarding instructor in Canada, this qualification will permit you to work in various countries in the northern and southern hemisphere and so can act as the springboard to a career in snowboarding.
The snowboarding qualification will, by its very nature, lead to dramatic improvements in your technique both during the course and after as you begin to self-analyse your riding.

"Hey Snowskool. Just wanted to put a huge thankyou up here & say that I had the best 5 weeks of my life with you! There was snow, drunkness, friendship in bucket loads (even a bit of romance for me), a new found love of pop tarts, pow pow, dogs with socks on, immense scenery & so much more I can't possibly mention. Mainly because of huge content, but some for decency issues! OOH and a CASI 1 cert."
