Snowboarding Instructor Course in New Zealand

Cooler than the other side of the pillow

Who’d have thought that whilst it's pissing down rain in the British summertime, you could escape to winter on the other side of the world? The SnowSkool NZ snowboarding instructor course begins in July and ends in September, thereby getting you all set to work as a snowboard instructor back up north from November/ December. Wanaka, where the SnowSkool snowboarding instructor course is based, is surely one of the most beautiful places on earth...the lake, the snow-capped peaks, the friendly, outdoorsy and cheery Kiwis. Quite simply, it is a magical place with some fantastic snowboarding to be had in the nearby hills. SnowSkool operates at Treble Cone (TC) for the simple reasons that it gets NZ’s best snow and has NZ’s toughest terrain – ensuring you will develop your riding to the maximum extent whilst your friends at home run around dodging the inevitable summer showers!

At TC, SnowSkool works with a specialist Snowboard School that is packed full of some of the most highly-qualified and specialised snowboard trainers anywhere. If the Earth competed against Mars in snowboard instruction, many of our guys would represent!

SnowSkool Case Study - Stuart Selkirk

““With only four weeks experience, I struggled for the first couple of weeks but the SnowSkool instructors were awesome and kept me going. After the course, I got a job working at Lake Louise in Canada through SnowSkool's recruitment service and had an awesome season instructing (and riding other hills nearby: Sunshine Village, Kicking Horse and Revelstoke). But I always had a yearning to return to NZ and so I applied to the University of Canterbury and am still there!””
