BASI Skiing Instructor Qualifications
Operating out of Méribel in the heart of the Three Valleys, SnowSkool France offers ski instructor courses that are governed by the BASI system (The British Association of Ski Instructors). The BASI governing body is an active member of the ISIA (International Ski Instructors’ alliance) an organisation acting to provide equivalency between the various different governing bodies worldwide. Within ISIA, BASI is well-regarded because of the requirement for experiencing working life as a ski instructor as an integral part of the certification programme.

Tim Lackyer
From: UK
Qualifications: BASI Alpine Level 1,2 & ISIA.
"I grew up ski racing on my local dry slope and during as many trips to the Alps as we could fit in! The BASI Club Instructor soon led onto the BASI Level 1 and Level 2. I managed to pick up some experience with a Ski School in Meribel and soon I was working towards my ISIA qualification. I passed my Test Technique (on second attempt) and got my ticket to work in France - which is where I am currently working today."
