Snowboard Instructor Course - Three Valleys
Intensive Snowboard Training in the World’s Favourite Ski Area
What could I possibly say about the Three Valleys that has not been said before? The world’s favourite ski area offers an unparalleled array of slopes, villages, shops, bars, restaurants and people. You know, if someone told me I could never again leave the confines of the Three Valleys, I’d be cool with that. Me, my snowboard and the area’s 600km of inter-connected pistes serviced by 296 chairlifts would get along just fine!
Your snowboard training is dealt with by a British Snowboard School called based in Méribel. Parallel Lines’ snowboard instructors are all qualified to a minimum of BASI ISTD (International Ski Teachers Diploma) standard. This is the highest level available in the respected BASI system. Long and short of it is that these guys are ridiculous on their boards and their job is to make you shrediculous on your board too. You will be pushed hard, with up to 35 hours of snowboard lessons per week but then it’s not maths lessons, is it?!
Le Snowboard instructor course en France
Bonjour les photos!
who chooses this course?

The age range on our Three Valleys snowboard instructor course tends to be 18-55. Americans and Aussies love the idea of riding in Europe but also, Brits who grew up snowboarding in the Alps tend to want to develop their love affair with France. It is also popular for those that, for one reason or another, have to pop home to the UK for the odd weekend or two.
Because we recommend a minimum of ten weeks on-snow, you kinda need to rock up as a good snowboarder. If you don’t, you’ll struggle with the Level 1 snowboard instructor exam which starts after five days with your snowboard instructor! Things may be a little out-of-kilter with the finer points of your snowboarding technique but we’ll soon rectify that. What is important is that you are comfortable riding everything on-piste and even some easier off-piste trails. With work experience in the Snowboard School an integral part of this snowboard instructor course, we expect to see you working as a snowboard instructor after the course.
Got this far and you're within touching distance of going on our Three Valleys instructor course ... or do you want to check out another SnowSkool snowboard instructor course.

Snowboard Instructor Case Study
Donna Brown, 25, SnowSkool Three Valleys 2011

Donna phoned up SnowSkool in May ‘10, sighed heavily and told us that she needed “a break – it must be out of the UK and there must be lots of snow and lots of wine”! After talking through the different courses, Donna plumped for a resort that is not only the world’s largest but is also in the country that produces the finest wines! Les Trois Vallées/ La France. With 20+ weeks riding under her belt she was experienced enough for SnowSkool’s toughest snowboarding course and there was uncontained delight amongst the group when “Big-D” passed her BASI Level 2 snowboard instructor exam.
